2018 commenced with the most expensive gas prices since 2014. At $2.52 per gallon on Friday, the national gas price average is down from over $3 four years ago. Maryland's average of $2.54, is more than a dime higher than a year ago, according to data from AAA. On this map, you can see the average gas prices in all 24 Maryland counties, as of Friday, including Baltimore City.
