Gov. Larry Hogan announced plans Thursday to seek a new developer for State Center, a move that sets the stage for a long-awaited overhaul of the site pending a settlement in the legal battle with the project's previous developer.
Hogan, who was in Baltimore on Thursday for a regional cabinet meeting, directed the Department of General Services to move forward with an "expression of interest" to find a new team for the redevelopment of the 28-acre government complex in Midtown Baltimore.
